Life happens to each and every one of us. Sometimes life struggles are too much and we need help in our life journey. I believe counseling is a wonderful way to get the help that you need when the journey of life is just too much.
I am honored to walk through life struggles with my clients. I believe that there is hope in all situations and that we can learn tools and techniques to help us through difficult times. Change is difficult, but working together in a safe place creates a warm atmosphere for change to happen. It is my goal to partner with my clients to find hope and healing in every situation in life.
I have worked with individuals, families, children, and couples in therapeutic settings for over 25 years. I have worked in child welfare, medical social work, private practice, and missions. My passion is working as a mental health therapist.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18

I promote a collaborative approach to well-being. My goal in our therapeutic relationship is to create a safe and non-judgmental space to allow exploration of your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and relationships.
Together, we will design strategies that empower you to build meaningful connections, change unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors, and create intentional game plans. I will walk beside you on your journey toward health and healing.
I have a master’s degree in social work and have worked in the medical setting with all groups, in the foster/adoptive realm, and I have PSI training for Perinatal Mental Health. I am excited that you are taking a step toward self-care as I am passionate about providing an environment to share real-life struggles.
As a foster, biological, adoptive mother and spouse I understand how hectic life can be. I offer daytime and some evening virtual therapy options to make it convenient for you.

Have you ever felt stuck? In a rut? Trapped by circumstances out of your control? YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Life happens, and at times it can be overwhelming. What I love most about therapy and the therapeutic journey is that I get the privilege to walk alongside you, and meet you where you are in life. Let me help you hold the hurt(s) and unpack the pain that many times we have been holding onto for far too long. My hope is to listen to you, empower you, and work with you in finding a path forward. We all come from different places and backgrounds, and I am a huge advocate that you do not have to stay chained to the path that was set out before you. Change is possible, change can be hard, let’s get to work.
I have experience working in both the domestic and refugee child welfare systems, as well as spending some time as a foster parent myself. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and specialize in trauma, having received an additional trauma certification during my masters level coursework.
I am passionate about working with teens and young adults to navigate through life's ups and downs. Foster/adoptive children will also always have a very special place in my heart as the most vulnerable among us.

I am deeply passionate about the value of helping and uplifting those around me, recognizing that we are called to help bear one another's burden. Life can be overwhelming, and I understand that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable step. It is my mission to create a warm and empathetic space where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself and exploring your emotions without judgment or fear. Building a trusting, therapeutic relationship is at the core of my practice with children, families, and individuals. I believe in the power of genuine connection, where you can feel seen, heard, and validated. I am here to walk alongside you, offering support and guidance as we collaborate to address the issues that are important to you. I am trained in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International. I have worked in the medical setting with all groups and also have extensive experience in working with children and teens.
